NHMF Frameworx delivers on social value commitment with first charitable donation
Frameworx is a new Not-for-Profit national social housing procurement framework organisation that is committed to investing in social value and supporting communities. Established in 2022 in association with the National Housing Maintenance Forum, with its first frameworks recently gone live, Frameworx is already delivering on its social value promise with its first charitable donation of £2,000 to the Peabody Community Fund.
David Miller, Frameworx Director comments: “Frameworx was created with a new ethos and approach that is designed to offer greater choice and better value for social housing providers, contractors and suppliers. Rather than sitting on accumulated profits, Frameworx is committed to investing in initiatives like social value, training and benchmarking. Our first round of frameworks for repairs and maintenance and specialist consultancy services are now live and to give our approved providers the opportunity to talk directly to clients, we set up a Frameworx Lounge at the recent NHMF Maintenance Conference 2023. A number of partners committed to sponsoring the lounge so we could provide refreshments during the conference with the surplus being donated. We originally proposed to donate 25% of the sponsorship fee to the Peabody Community Foundation, but thanks to the overwhelming generosity of all those involved, we were able to donate the full sponsorship amount of £2,000.
“Peabody is one of the oldest and largest not-for-profit housing associations in the UK, and they established The Peabody Community Foundation in 2016 to help their people, households and communities to be more resilient and live happy independent lives. They have pioneered programmes that are changing lives and transforming communities across London and we are delighted to be able to support their work.
