Julie has over 36 years’ experience of working within the housing sector. Her career started at Liverpool City Council before joining South Liverpool Homes in 1999. In her current position, Julie oversees neighbourhood management, community safety, income management and allocation of homes; and represents the organisation on the homelessness agenda.  Julie is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) having completed her term of office as Chair of the North West CIH Board and remains an active member of the board.
