Nigel is Technical Director at Octopus Energy, where he supports housing developers to deliver low carbon and 'Zero Bills' homes in service of the affordable, green revolution. He is passionate about delivering high performing buildings and has designed, built, manufactured, retrofitted, monitored and lived in some of the UK's best performing homes and buildings. He has worked across the housing and energy sectors for over two decades, having held positions at national developer Keepmoat and consultancy Engie. Throughout his career, Nigel has been responsible for delivering step-change projects including the first properties with zero energy bills, guaranteed by Octopus Energy.
