Fire Safety Unit, Home Office
James Aulton has worked in the Fire Safety Unit in the Home Office since 2020. He leads on the Fire Safety Act, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations and the amendments to the Fire Safety Order through the Building Safety Act. He previously led the programme to update guidance issued in support of the Fire Safety Order.
